As you may know, our founding winemaker was Dimitri Tchelistcheff, son of Napa legend, André Tchelistcheff. André has been called the most influential winemaker in Napa Valley's history, the godfather of Napa Valley wine, and even The Pope.

To honor André's life and contributions to wine, his great nephew, award winning director Mark Tchelistcheff, made a documentary about him. The film, narrated by Ralph Fiennes, gives rare insights into the life of this luminary and the rise of Napa Valley's prominence through interviews with top industry names, including his son, Dimitri.

The Jarvis Conservatory in downtown Napa presented an in-person screening of André: The Voice of Wine when the film premiered.
